The D visa application can be submitted online through Serbia’s official portal, subject to the applicable requirements and instructions of the responsible Serbian mission. The Agency or employer may submit the application, as applicable.

An employment-based D visa is generally issued for a stay of 90 to 180 days. For a longer stay and employment in Serbia, an application for a temporary residence and work permit, often referred to as a TRC or single permit, can be submitted in accordance with the applicable requirements.
The permit may be granted for up to 3 years, depending on the employment documents and the decision of the Serbian authorities. It may be renewed subject to applicable requirements.
